New Photos From DC's TITANS Gives Us Our Best Look Yet at The DOOM PATROL

A few days ago we a promo spot was released for the upcoming episode of DC Universe’s Titans, which is the episode that introduces the Doom Patrol characters. The promo spot was a little on the low-quality side, but it did offer us our first look at the Doom Patrol in action.

Today we have some photos from the episode to show you and they give us our best look yet at some of the characters. Those characters include Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man (Matt Bomer), and Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby ). The photos show them with Raven (Teagan Croft), Beast (Ryan Potter), Starfire (Anna Doip), and Robin (Brenton Thwaites).

Below you’ll find the official synopsis for the upcoming episode, which is called “Doom Patrol”:

Now aware of Rachel’s power, Dick and Kory unite to find her.  Escaped from the convent that sought to imprison her, Rachel puts her trust in Gar who reveals his own transformative powers.  Seeking refuge, Gar brings Rachel home to his “family” – a group of misfit medical experiments we will come to know as The Doom Patrol (including Cliff Steele aka Robotman, Larry Trainor aka Negative Man and Rita Farr aka Elastiwoman) – in hopes of helping the girl. But what starts as a place of comfort for Rachel, soon turns dark under the scientific curiosity of The Doom Patrol’s leader Dr. Niles Caulder, whose experiment into Rachel’s powers threatens to set free a darkness, and reveal a new level of evil waiting to escape.

The actual Doom Patrol spinoff series is being written by Jeremy Carver who will executive produce it alongside Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter

The series received a 13-episode straight-to-series order and it will begin production this year for a 2019 premiere on DC Universe.
