New Photos From Marvel's THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER
I’ve got a collection of new photos to share with you from Marvel’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Most of them feature shots of Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, a.k.a. Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, a.k.a. the Winter Soldier. There’s also one that includes Emily Van Camp as Sharon Carter, a.k.a Agent 13.
The series centers around mismatched pair of military vets and former Captain America bros “who team up for a global adventure that will test their survival skills — as well as their patience.”
It’s been rumored that the series may involve some sort of massive viral threat. It’s been speculated that this viral threat could come from Virus X, the Madbomb, or something else that will put the population in grave danger.
This new story also sees the return of Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo as well as newcomer Wyatt Russell as John Walker, a.k.a. U.S. Agent.
One of the reasons I’m so excited about this series is because it looks like it’ll be closest to the kind of stuff we saw in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which is one of the best movies to come out of Marvel. I hope this series is just as great as that film was.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is directed by Kari Skogland, and Malcolm Spellman is the head writer. The series will premiere on Disney+ on March 19th, 2021.
