New Photos of Tom Hiddleston as Hank Williams in I SAW THE LIGHT
Sony Pictures Classics has released several new images from Tom Hiddleston’s Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light. We got our first look at Hiddleston in action singing the classic song "Move It On Over," which was his first major hit record.
The film tells the story of the legendary country western singer Hank Williams, “who in his brief life created one of the greatest bodies of work in American music. The film chronicles his meteoric rise to fame and its ultimately tragic effect on his health and personal life.”
The movie was written and directed by Marc Abraham, and it’s based on Colin Escott’s award-winning biography. The film stars Elizabeth Olsen, Bradley Whitford, David Krumholtz and Cherry Jones.
The movie will be released on March 25th, 2016.
