NEW POKÉMON SNAP Gets a Beautiful New Trailer and Release Date
It happened! We have a release date for New Pokémon Snap! Ever since it was first announced, I’ve been looking forward to getting my hands on the game. I enjoyed the original game on the Nintendo 64, and I’m excited to play it with much improved graphics and many more Pokémon to snap pictures of. In addition to learning the game will launch on April 30, fans were treated to a new trailer that is gorgeous. I can’t wait to play!
In New Pokémon Snap, players will take on the role of a budding Pokémon photographer and work with the Lental region expert, Professor Mirror, and his assistant, Rita, on an ecological survey to photograph Pokémon thriving in nature.
One of the tools that players will have available to them to draw Pokémon out is Fluffruit. This will not only help draw Pokémon out, but it will also provide new interactions for you to capture on your camera. Also, you may notice that the Meganium in the trailer is glowing. This is known as the Illumina Phenomenon and is unique to the Lental region. We’ll have to hop in the NEO-ONE (the craft you take pictures from) and go out on an adventure to “uncover the mystery behind the Illumina Phenomenon!”
New Pokémon Snap will be available to play on April 30 on the Nintendo Switch, and you can pre-order digital copies now from the eShop.
