New Poster and Photos for Darren Aronofsky's Psychological Horror Thriller MOTHER!
So far all the marketing material we've seen from Darren Aronofky's mother! is pretty dark and disturbing. So it comes as no surprise that this new poster maintains the very same theme.
It shows a deep crack forming between co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem, which is something that also seems to happen to their characters in the newest trailer for the film.
Lawrence and Bardem play a couple who move into a new house, only for some uninvited guests (Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer) to arrive and interrupt their getaway. When talking about the movie with EW, the director says:
“It has home-invasion elements and is definitely a thriller. It is closer to Black Swan in spirit than anything I have done in a while.”
The best thing about this film will be the surprise of it. It’s an intense journey and it’s definitely the biggest roller coaster in the park. Only get on it if you really want to do the loop-the-loop.”
