New Poster Art For AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Surfaces as Directors Tease That a New Trailer is Coming Soon

Thanos unleashes his smile of death in this latest promo poster art that has surfaced for Avengers: Infinity War. The poster features several of the other Avengers characters and a couple of villains from the film as well.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are also teasing that a new trailer is coming soon! Unfortunately, they aren't saying when! They just posted the following message, "༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ GIVE TRAILER INFINITY ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ" and then Tom Holland (Spider-Man) chimed in showing that he's just as excited and as impatient as the rest of us are!

Last week, there was a ton of exciting information released for Avengers: Infinity War. To catch up on all of that news, click here.

The story will put the focus on Thanos as he travels across the galaxy collecting the six Infinity Stones so that he can destroy half of the universe to bring balance to it. When talking about Thanos' drive behind this goal of his, Kevin Feige said:

"He’s from a planet called Titan that’s no longer inhabited because of things that he thought he could help prevent, and he was not allowed to do that. What he feared most happened, and the planet and everybody on it basically went extinct. He vowed not to let that happen again. He thinks he sees the universe going down the tubes. He thinks he sees life expanding outward unchecked. That will bring ruin, he believes, to the universe and to that life."

Josh Brolin also talked about past of the character, adding:

"You see how he grew up, you see he was like the Quasimodo of this time, or if you’ve ever read Perfume [Patrick Süskind ‘s 1985 novel about a serial killer], it’s a great parallel to Thanos. He stuck out. He was an anomaly. He was a freak. And that lent to this apparent insanity."

He then went on to tease Thanos' soft side, explaining:

"When you see the relationship with Gamora and you see that evolves, God I wish I could tell you. I can’t! When [directors Joe and Anthony Russo] came up to me after we had done maybe three quarters of the film, they said, 'It wasn’t necessarily intended that you feel for this guy as much as you do.' Obviously he has a grand plan, like somebody who’s pulling in kids for their own selfish bloodshed. But he has a capacity to love very much and very deeply."

Avengers: Infinity War will hit theaters on April 27th. I hope we get that new trailer soon!
