New Poster Art For FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE - "Return To The Magic"
Warner Bros. has shared a new poster for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, the third chapter of the Fantastic Beasts Harry Potter spinoff film series. The poster features Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with the sun rising in the background. It also includes a flaming phoenix, most likely Dumbledore's phoenix, Fawkes, flying towards it.
Hogwarts is going to be a bigger setting in this film than the previous Fantastic Beasts films that have been movies, and I’m sure that Harry Potter fans will appreciate that. If you haven’t watched the trailer for the movie yet, you can watch it here.
In the story, Jude Law’s Dumbledore calls on Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and a team of brave individuals to prevent Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers and stop a looming wizarding world war. Their goal is to take down the most dangerous wizard in over a century as Grindelwald is pulling the world apart with hate.
The synopsis for the movie reads:
Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?
The movie also stars Mads Mikkelsen, taking over the role of the franchise villain Gellert Grindelwald, who was previously played by Johnny Depp. The cast also includes Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, and Dan Fogler.
J.K. Rowling’s frequent collaborator and Harry Potter franchise writer Steve Kloves co-wrote the script and Harry Potter veteran David Yates returned to helm the new movie.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will be released in theaters on April 15th, 2022.
