New Poster For CAPTAIN MARVEL Released and a New Trailer is Coming Tomorrow!
Marvel has released a new poster for Captain Marvel on the eve before a new trailer will drop. The new Captain Marvel trailer will be released tomorrow night, December 3rd, during Monday Night Football, so stay tuned for that!
I know that everyone has been waiting for the Avengers 4 trailer to drop, but it’s just not that time yet. Unless, Marvel pulls the old switch-a-roo and ends up surprising fans with an Avengers 4 trailer tomorrow instead! I don’t think that will happen, but one can hope.
We’ve still got a long way to go before Captain Marvel is released, but this poster and the upcoming new trailer is sure to get fans even more excited! I can’t wait to see what kind of new footage will be shared with us tomorrow!
The film is set in 1995 and follows Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot whose DNA is fused with that of an alien during an accident. The resulting alteration imbues her with the superpowers of strength, energy projection, and flight. The Skrulls will also play a major part of the story as they will be invading Earth and Captain Marvel will either have to fight them or help them.
Captain Marvel is being directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind). The most recent script comes from Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Tomb Raider). The film also stars Ben Mendelsohn as the villain, Jude Law as Doctor Walter Lawson, a.k.a. Mar-Vell, Clark Gregg will reprise his role as Agent Coulson, and Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou will be back as the Kree villain Ronan the Accuser and his henchman Korath the Pursuer.
The movie is set to be released on March 8th, 2019.
