New Poster for Christopher Nolan's THE ODYSSEY for Fans to Check Out
A new poster has been released for director Christopher Nolan’s (Inception, The Dark Knight, Oppenheimer) next film, The Odyssey, based on the epic by Homer. The adaptation tells the story of Odysseus (Matt Damon), the King of Ithaca, and his journey to get home after the Trojan War.
Damon is joined by Himesh Patel as Eurylochus; Anne Hathaway, who plays Odysseus' wife, Penelope; and Tom Holland, who plays their son, Telemachus.
The film also stars Robert Pattinson as Antinous, as well as Zendaya, Lupita Nyong'o, Elliot Page, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton, Jesse Garcia, and Will Yun Lee.
The film is described as a “mythic action epic shot across the world.” The story will follow Odysseus’s perilous journey home after the Trojan War, introducing audiences to legendary characters from Greek mythology like the cyclops Polyphemus, the sea god Poseidon, and the enchantress Calypso.
Universal Pictures will release The Odyssey on July 17, 2026. Check out the new poster below:
