New Poster For SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 Features The Heroes and Villains Facing Off
Paramount Pictures has released a new poster for Sonic The Hedgehog 2, and it features the heroes of the film, Sonic and Tails, facing off with the villains of the movie, Dr. Robotnik and Knuckles.
The movie stars Ben Schwartz as Sonic, Idris Elba as Knuckles, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Miles "Tails" Prower, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, and James Marsden will be back as Tom Wachowski, a police officer that befriends Sonic and offers him some sound advice.
Here’s the synopsis:
The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.
Not only are we getting this sequel to the film, the studio also recently announced a third film and a Knuckles spinoff film. So if you’ve enjoyed this franchise, there’s more coming!
The movie is being directed by Jeff Fowler and it races into theaters on April 8th, 2022.
