New POWER RANGERS Lightning Collection Figures Brings Two More 6th Rangers to the Collection
Hasbro recently announced a couple of new members of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection. Both of these figures are available to pre-order now through Hasbro Pulse for $33.99 with a release set for March 2023. Andros’ best friend Zhane from Power Rangers In Space is now available in all his Silver Ranger glory including with this Silver Cycle! In Space Silver comes with a head sculpt of Zhane, some extra hands, and two versions of the Super Silverizer: one with the blade and one without.
The other figure takes us back one season to Power Rangers Turbo with the Blue Centurion. The Blue Centurion is an interesting character to say the least, but his figure comes with a number of accessories including his weapon, a blast effect, extra hands, and more. This figure is also 6.6” instead of the Lightning Collection standard of 6”.
I wonder why they made him taller. The Blue Centurion does raise a question though. Why the heck was the Phantom Ranger billed as an In Space character? Many thought that it was because Hasbro wasn’t able to use Turbo because of rights, but the Blue Centurion is billed as a Turbo character! It’s an enigma for sure.
Are we on the verge of seeing the Turbo Rangers finally start making their way to the Lightning Collection?
