New PREDATOR: BADLANDS Trailer Promises a Savage and Awesome Sci-Fi Adventure

20th Century Studios has released a new international trailer for Predator: Badlands, which looks like one of the most ambitious entries in the Predator saga. It’s going to take audiences on a wild, action-packed ride.

Set in the future on a remote planet, the film follows “a young Predator, outcast from his clan, who finds an unlikely ally in Thia and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.”

The new trailer gives us a closer look at Dek, the young Predator played by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, and teases how he became an exile. We see flashes of his background story and it showcases his relentless mission to hunt an unkillable creature.

Joining him is Elle Fanning as Thia, a synthetic humanoid built by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, and she seems to brings an interesting dynamic to the table, pairing human-like intuition with machine precision as she and Dek form an unlikely bond.

Director Dan Trachtenberg returns to the Predator world after his critically acclaimed prequel Prey and the animated Disney+ project Killers of Killers. He also co-wrote the Badlands screenplay with Patrick Aison, based on the original characters created by Jim Thomas and John Thomas.

Packed with sharp visuals, tense standoffs, and the kind of sci-fi spectacle that I think fans are gonna love. Predator: Badlands looks ready to push the franchise into exciting new territory.

The film hits theaters on November 7, 2025.
