New Promo For STRANGER THINGS Season 2 Reveals The Episode Titles! What Do You Make of Them?
Netflix has released a fun new promo spot for Stranger Things Season 2 that reveals the new and final titles of the upcoming episodes. When the second season was first announced last year, it came along with the announcement featuring the following episode titles:
“Madmax”
“The Boy Who Came Back to Life”
“The Pumpkin Patch”
“The Palace”
“The Storm”
“The Pollywog”
“The Secret Cabin”
“The Brain”
“The Lost Brother”
The new episode titles are as follows:
Chapter 1: Dragon’s Lair
Chapter 2: Trick or Treat Freak
Chapter 3: The Pollywog
Chapter 4: Will the Wise
Chapter 5: Dig Dug
Chapter 6: The Spy
Chapter 7, 8, and 9: Super Duper Secret
It's interesting to note that only one title has remained the same and that title is "The Pollywog", but it's in a different order. As for why the Duffer bros. decided to change the titles, Matt Duffer told EW in a previous interview:
“Some of them are changing. Some of them we didn’t put because these people are smart on the f—ing internet. You’ve seen it with Westworld — they figured it out! I’ve seen videos analyzing the chapter titles and they’re right on a lot.”
I just excited that the second season will be released this month! I don't want to know the meaning behinds the titles until I see the series, but I do love that there is going to be an episode called "Dig Dug", which is the name of a classic video game!
Stranger Things is set to be released on Netflix on October 27th. Watch the promo video below!
