New Promo Image From Marvel's THE DEFENDERS Shows The Team Ready For a Brawl
Like many of you out there, I have been super stoked for the arrival of The Defenders on Netflix. Ever since the first episode of Daredevil, the storyline of the heroes of New York is probably my favorite thread in the Marvel Entertainment Universe tapestry. With San Diego Comic-con next week and the premiere of The Defenders just weeks away, the marketing for the show is going to pick up.
Empire released this picture of the "Gang of Four” getting ready for battle. Of course, this will probably be one of the promotional pieces used next week during SDCC. It totally gets me pumped for the show as it features the team gathered together and they are ready to fight!
Unfortunately, I have not watched a single episode of Iron Fist. I know, I am ashamed. I fell into the trap of listening to everyone else and not forming an opinion for myself. I will have to rectify this before August 18th. With that in mind, I am still super excited to see these heroes team up for what can only be described as one hell of a ride. Is it silly of me to hope that Frank Castle makes an appearance in this series? I don’t care what you say! I am holding out hope. Even if he doesn't show up, he's still got his solo series coming!

The Netflix original series will launch globally on August 18, 2017.
