New Promo Spot for THE MANDALORIAN Reveals a New Mandalorian Character

While we wait for The Mandalorian to drop on Disney+ next week, we’ve got another new promo spot to share with you, and it’s got even more cool footage that you’re gonna want to check out! While it’s packed full of a lot of stuff, one thing that stood out was the reveal of a new Mandalorian character. The character seems like a blacksmith of sorts and is sporting a Spartan-style Mandalorian helmet.

It looks like Jon Favreau has made something special with this series, something that most if not all of the Star Wars fans will love and appreciate. I’m so ready to watch this series! Check out the new promo below and let us know what you think!

New footage ! No really !

The series is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order and it follows “a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy.” Here’s the synopsis:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The series stars Pedro Pascal (Narcos) as the title character, Gina Carano (Deadpool) as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers (Predator) as Greef Carga, Omid Abtahi (American Gods) as Dr. Pershing, Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), as well as Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow,and Taika Waititi as the voice of the droid IG-11.

Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) is directing the first episode and serving as executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Additional directors include Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok). 

The series is set to premiere on Disney+ on November 12th.
