New Promo Spot For THE WALKING DEAD Highlights Carl's Journey
Even though I thought Carl was an annoying character in The Walking Dead, it's going to be sad to see him go because he has been a staple in the series since the very beginning.
At the end of the midseason 8 finale, to the surprise of the audience, Carl ended up being bitten by a walker. And you all know what happens after that. Even though creator Robert Kirkman said that Carl might not die, we all know that's a load of crap. Especially now that AMC has released this new promo series called "Carl's Journey Ends."
The new promo highlights Carl's more courageous moments in the series. It's only 30 seconds long. Now, what they need to do, is put together a highlight reel of all the stupid-ass things Carl has done in the series! That would be a much longer and more entertaining trailer.
I'm fine with Carl being killed off, but it's gotta be so strange and hard for Chandler Riggs, who grew up on this show. The people on this show were his family and to not be able to work with them anymore has got to be a tough pill to swallow.
The Walking Dead Season 8 returns next Sunday.
