New Promo Spot For WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS Season 2 Features a Silly Sensual Puppet Show

FX has shared a new promo for the upcoming second season of their fantastically funny supernatural comedy series What We Do In The Shows. As you’ll see, one of the things these vampire characters do for fun is watching vampire familiar Guillermo (Harvey Guillén), put on a sexy marionette puppet show.

The series was created by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi and it’s based on the hilarious mocumentary film that they made. I think the show is equally as funny and Season 2 will also include Mark Hamill in an unknown role and  Haley Joel Osment, who is playing a zombie named Topher. You can read more about his character and his role in the story, here.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the second season of this series brings! While we wait for it to be released enjoy the new promo.

Here’s the synopsis:

Based on the feature film of the same name from Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, “What We Do in the Shadows” is a documentary-style look into the daily (or rather, nightly) lives of four vampires who’ve “lived” together for hundreds of years in Staten Island. After an unexpected visit from their dark lord and leader, the vampires are reminded of what they were initially tasked with upon their arrival in New York City over a century ago — total and complete domination of the New World. But what exactly is the best way to go about achieving said domination? A vérité camera crew follows along as the vampires set out to answer this query.

What We Do in the Shadows season 2 premieres on FX on April 15, 2020.
