New "Quiet Dark" Trailer for AMC's INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE Puts a Focus on Louis's Story
AMC has released a new trailer for Anne Rice’s Interview With The Vampire titled “Quiet Dark,” and it puts a focus on Louis de Pointe du Lac's (Jacob Anderson) story. The trailer features new footage including Louis talking to Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian), and Daniel is challenging Louis on his story about his relationship with the vampire Lestat (Sam Reid).
In the trailer, Louis suggests that his relationship with Lestat was abusive, but he also claims that the two of them were "equals in the quiet dark."
The series is set at the turn of the 20th century in New Orleans, and it follows the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac as he relates the story of his life to a reporter, in particular how he was turned into a vampire and then mentored by Lestat de Lioncourt.
Rolin Jones (Perry Mason) serves as showrunner on the series. The late Anne Rice and her son Christopher Rice are also executive producers. The first season of the series will consist of seven episodes. Watch the trailer and let us know if this looks like a show you’d want to watch.
Interview With the Vampire is set to debut on October 2nd on AMC and AMC+.
