New Red-Band Trailer For THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS Features More Inappropriate Puppet Craziness
If you're looking to see some more wildly inappropriate puppet behavior, you've come to the right place. A new red-band trailer has been released for director Brian Henson's The Happytime Murders and the more I see of the film, the more crazy and ridiculous it looks. It's definitely going to be unlike any other muppet-type movie that we've ever seen and you're not going to want to take your kids to see it! The movie is dark, vulgar, and I'm curious to see how well it does at the box office.
I've seen a lot of mixed reactions to the trailers for this film so far. Some people think it looks hilarious, while others don't like the whole vulgar muppet angle. I'm really personally curious to see how it turns out. It could be a lot of fun, but it could also be incredibly stupid. We'll just have to wait and see.
The human characters in the story are played by Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, Joel McHale, and Elizabeth Banks, who you'll see as a stripper in the trailer. Here's the synopsis:
No Sesame. All Street. The Happytime Murders is a filthy comedy set in the underbelly of Los Angeles where puppets and humans coexist. Two clashing detectives with a shared secret, one human (Melissa McCarthy) and one puppet, are forced to work together again to solve the brutal murders of the former cast of a beloved classic puppet television show.
The Happytime Murders hits theaters on August 17, 2018. Are you excited about this movie?
