New Release Dates For THE BATMAN, THE FLASH, SHAZAM! 2, THE MANY SAINTS OF NEWARK, and More

Warner Bros. has announced some new release dates for several of its upcoming films. This was expected to happen with Hollywood and movie theaters being shut down.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman has been moved from June 25th, 2021 to October 1st, 2021.

Andy Muschietti’s The Flash has been moved up from July 1st, 2022 to June 3rd, 2022.

David Sandberg’s Shazam! 2 which was set to be released on April 1, 2022 will now be released on November 4th, 2022.

Baz Luhrmann’s untitled Elvis Presley movie starring Tom Hanks has been moved from October 1st, 2021 to November 5th, 2021.

The Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark was set from September 25th, 2020 and it will now be released on March 12th, 2021.

Will Smith’s King Richard has been moved from November 25th, 2020 to November 19th, 2021.

Then there’s a new date added for Lisa Joy’s sci-fi film Reminiscence, which stars Hugh Jackman, Thandie Newton, and Rebecca Ferguson. That movie will be released on April 16, 2021.

There’s also an untitled movie about Black Panther party member Fred Hampton which stars Daniel Kaluuya stars as Hampton, LaKeith Stanfield, Martin Sheen, Lil Rel Howery and Jesse Plemons. That film is now without a release date.
