New Release Dates For MATRIX 4, GODZILLA VS. KONG, BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC, and More
We’ve got new release dates for a bunch of upcoming films that you might want to know about. Matrix 4, Godzilla Vs. Kong, Tom & Jerry, The Witches, and Bios are all being pushed back. But, when it comes to Bill & Ted Face The Music, that movie has actually been pushed up!
Here are the details for the upcoming films:
Lana Wachaowsk’s Matrix 4 has been pushed back an entire year! It was originally set to be released on May 21st, 2021 but has been moved to April 1st, 2022.
Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong has been moved from November 20th 2020 to Matrix 4’s original release date of May 21st, 2021.
Tim Story’s Tom & Jerry moves from December 23rd, 2020 and heads to March 5th, 2021.
Robert Zemeckis’ adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Witches was supposed to be released on October 9th, 2020 but is now unset for some time in 2021.
There’s also an untitled New Line horror movie that will now be released on June 4th, 2021. That movie might be James Wan’s Malignant.
Dean Parisot’s Bill & Ted Face The Music was originally set to hit theater son Augst 21st, 2020, but the studio moved up the release date a week and will now be released on August 14th, 2020. So, that the best news here!
Tom Hank’s sci-fi film Bios has been moved from October 2nd, 2020 to April 16th, 2021. Bios is one film in the list that you might not be familiar with, so here’s the synopsis:
Hanks plays Finch, “a robotics engineer and one of the few survivors of a cataclysmic solar event that has left the world a wasteland. Finch has been living in an underground bunker for decade with his dog, Goodyear. However, Finch is terminally ill. With time running out, he creates a robot (Caleb Landry) to watch over Goodyear when he no longer can. As the trio embarks on a perilous journey into a desolate American West, Finch strives to show his creation, who names himself Jeff, the joy and wonder of what it means to be alive and to teach him to become human enough to take care of Goodyear. And Goodyear himself must learn to accept and trust his new master.”
It’s not really surprising to see more release dates get pushed back due to movie theaters being shut down. They are reopening soon, but it’s obviously going to be a slow process before they are fully up to speed and running at full capacity again.
