New Release Dates for TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS and the New STAR TREK Movie

Paramount Pictures has shifted a couple of release dates around for a couple of their big tentpole movies.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts has been pushed back a full year and is now set to be released on June 9th, 2023. The original release date was June 24, 2022.

Then there’s the new Star Trek film that’s in development with Matt Shakman (WandaVision) attached to direct. That movie will be released on December 22, 2023. The original release was June 9th, 2023.

Rise of the Beasts is being directed by Steven Caple Jr. and stars Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Valez, Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and Ron Perlman as Optimus Primal. The story will be set in 1994 and it will introduce some more robot factions.

As for the next Star Trek film, we still don’t really know anything about it or who will star in it. Shakman will direct from a script written by Lindsey Beer (Godzilla Vs. Kong) and Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel).
