New Release Dates Set for GODZILLA VS. KONG 2 and DUNE: PART TWO

Warner Bros. has announced release dates for two of its upcoming film epics. Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two release date has been pushed back from October 20th, 2023 to November 17th, 2023. It’s not much of a delay!

Dune: Part Two stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, and Josh Brolin. They will be joined by new actors Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, heir to the House of Harkonnen, Christopher Walken as Emperor Shaddam IV, Florence Pugh as the Emperor’s daughter, Princess Irulan, and Léa Seydoux will take on the critical role of Lady Margot.

It was also announced that Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong sequel will be released in theaters on March 15th, 2024, so we’ve got a long way to go for that one. That’s fine, though. The first Godzilla vs. Kong was so bad that I’m in no rush to see the sequel.

The only actor currently attached to the film right now is Dan Stevens. Story details are still kept under wraps, but it was reported last year that it would potentially be titled Son of Kong.
