New Report Suggests the Disney-Fox Deal Will Close by Early March

In a recent report, Fox has confirmed that it will not be trying to buy back any of the 22 regional sports networks that Disney has to sell according to a deal with the Department of Justice in order to complete the acquisition of 21st Century Fox. What’s more interesting for many movie fans is that, according to the report from Variety, the acquisition deal of Fox by Disney is set to be finalized by “early March” with possibilities of ending it sooner. That’s right, we may be only a month or two away from Marvel officially having the rights back to the Fantastic Four, X-Men, Silver Surfer, and many more.

While I can’t wait for the merger to be finalized so that more characters can play together on the silver screen and so that Disney can have all the rights to Star Wars, I still have my concerns about Disney becoming as big as it is. Are you more excited or terrified for the deal to go through?
