New Report Suggests THE OFFICE Will Air Never Before Seen Footage When It Makes the Move to Peacock in January
Most of us who are fans of The Office have watched the series several times. I watched when it first aired on NBC, I watch the reruns on cable, and my husband and I have gone back and watched the series on Netflix as well. We know it, we quote it, and it never gets old. But according to a new report, there may be some new footage on the horizon for fans of the series to enjoy!
NBC’s new streaming service Peacock is poised to bring The Office to their home streamer in January 2021, and a report from Bloomberg says they are looking to promote the relaunch of the series with the promise of new, previously unreleased content. Matt Strauss, chairman of Peacock and NBCUniversal Digital Enterprises, said:
“We will be reintroducing The Office in a more complete way, incorporating elements that were not part of the original broadcast.”
I think The Office will already be a big draw to the streaming service, but the promise of a little new footage may push fans over the edge if they were debating signing up. I know I am definitely interested in checking out the episodes to see if I can pick up on what new footage they have to offer!
Peacock is available now, and The Office will be available to view this January. Are you excited to see the new footage in the episodes?
