New RICK & MORTY Featurette Focuses on the Animation Challenges It's Faced
Adult Swim has shared an interesting new Rick & Morty featurette titled “Animation Challenges,” and it offers us a behind-the-scenes look at the animation process for Rick and Morty.
The video includes interviews with the creative team as they discuss the challenges they’ve faced with some of the complex animation they’ve had to pull off. This includes scenes with big crowds and big battles. They interestingly describe the series as a “vector-based puppet show.”
An exclusive look at the cutting-edge animation techniques introduced this season, including special hand-drawn segments, an epic “Game of Thrones”-style battle scene that features hundreds of characters, special 3D models and more! Viewers will learn why this Rick and Morty's most technically ambitious season yet.
