New Rumor Claims a JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH Sequel Is in the Works With Scarlett Johansson Returning

Jurassic World: Rebirth opened this summer to mixed reviews, but the movie proved to being intriguing enough to bring audiences in to watch, resulting in a box office success.

Filmmaker Gareth Edwards aimed to reboot the franchise, making a movie as scary and exhilarating as the original, and though the film wasn’t perfect, it did seem to deliver on that promise.

The great cast and packed-in action gave fans a thrill, and if a new rumor that’s circulating is true, we will see another film added to the franchise soon.

Two-time Oscar nominee Scarlett Johansson led the cast as Zora Bennett, a dino-DNA extracting adventurer who would make sense to see return in a sequel. According to industry scooper Daniel Richtman (via SFFGazette.com), "A new Jurassic World movie with [Johansson] as the lead again is already in the works."

If this comes to pass, it would make sense that Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey would also return, but for now it’s just a rumor, and we will have to see how it all works out.
