New Rumor Claims Al Pacino is In Serious Talks With Marvel About Joining the MCU
Back in 2014, after Guardians of the Galaxy came out, Academy Award winner Al Pacino (The Godfather) reportedly met with Marvel president Kevin Feige about an undisclosed role in the MCU.
This may have been for the part of Ego in GOTG Vol. 2, which ultimately went to Kurt Russell, or something else entirely, but either way, it never came to fruition. But could a new role be just the one to fit the iconic actor?
According to industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH, a recent post on X claims that Pacino may be involved in serious negotiations again with Feige, to appear in the MCU. Marvel and those representing Pacino have not confirmed this rumor, but it’s an interesting one.
The MCU is at a turning point with their major ensemble films getting ready to point our surviving characters in a very new direction. Marvel is casting their X-Men franchise, as well as Ghost Rider, and Black Panther 3, as well as whatever projects are coming after those which have not yet been announced.
