New Rumor Claims an Even Larger Number of Villains in SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Than We Expected
Fans are ready for another Spider-Man movie, as it’s been four years since his last adventure, and the last time we saw Peter Parker, he was left in a very sad state. Spider-Man: No Way Home welcomed back two beloved Spider-Man actors that helped our universe’s Parker round up and defeat some of each of their villains that were brought into the MCU through the opening of the multiverse.
It was exciting and fun, but the solution to the problem involved Peter asking Doctor Strange to remove him from the memories of everyone he knew, so it left our web-slinger in a pretty dark place.
Rumors have been flying about the project lately, as it’s less than a year away now, and a new one involves the amount of villains we could see in the new film.
Industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH reported this week that the movie could feature upwards of eight bad guys! Could that include The Scorpion, Tombstone, Tarantula, Boomerang, Ramrod...The Hulk...The Punisher...and Frank Castle's female sidekick?
Not long ago, The Cosmic Circus shared its take on the reports that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will feature multiple villains, saying:
"The idea behind the multiple side villains that we’re seeing reported by multiple scoopers isn’t because scoopers are confused. A good majority of those villains being reported are meant to be a part of an opening montage similar to The Fantastic Four: First Steps, where we would see Spider-Man take on these villains over the years since No Way Home."
It was added that, "We’ll see how with each passing battle, Peter would upgrade his suit, reaching the one we see in Brand New Day."
It will really be interesting to see how this next movie plays out. I can’t wait to catch up with Peter Parker and see how this movie sets up the events of Avengers: Doomsday.
