New Rumor Claims Another Villain From THE FLASH Will Be Included in THE PEOPLE V. GORILLA GRODD

The People v. Gorilla Grodd is shaping up to be a real treat for DC fans. Just as Superman was a great introduction of a host of classic DC characters, this series looks like it will do the same.

Murmur, Golden Glider, and Ambush Bug have each been confirmed or at least rumored to appear in the film, and now former Nexus Point News reporter @ApocHorseman has revealed that Weather Wizard is also set to make his DCU debut in the series. The unnamed actor in the role reportedly only shot for a single day, suggesting this will be a one-episode appearance for the villain.

While cool on its own, this reveal, along with the other members of The Rogues, seems to point to The Flash being introduced into this era of the DCU.

Weather Wizard was created by writer John Broome and artist Carmine Infantino, and first appeared in The Flash #110 in 1959. Originally using a weather-controlling wand, the villain can generate lightning, tornadoes, blizzards, powerful winds and other dangerous weather phenomena.

Will the Fastest Man Alive himself somehow factor into The People vs. Gorilla Grodd? It is seeming more and more likely. It’s a bummer that DC has had to distance themselves from Ezra Miller due to their controversial alleged charges, as they were so good in the role of The Flash, but it’s cool to hear that the character will likely return. Who would you like to see take on the character now?

The People v. Gorilla Grodd is currently in production, and will likely hit HBO sometime next year.
