New Rumor Claims AVENGERS: SECRET WARS Has Even Bigger and More Exciting Plans Than DOOMSDAY

It’s easy to assume that the scale and scope of the next two Avengers movies will be close to the last two, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Those movies closed out a major chapter in the MCU, taking down the biggest villain the heroes had yet faced, and changing the world around them.

It would make sense to fans that with the Russo Brothers returning to helm the next films, we can expect something just as big, if not bigger.

We already know the bulk of the cast for Avengers: Doomsday, which leads us to the assumption of an epic showdown, but a new rumor claims that Doomsday will pale in comparison to what they have in store for Avengers: Secret Wars.

Industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH has shared some intriguing insights. It all started at New York Comic Con, when Charlie Cox was asked if his Daredevil could team up with Ben Affleck's Man Without Fear from the 2003 movie. The actor replied:

"I have no idea what you're talking about," which is a pretty standard answer for Marvel actors, though it’s still one that's gained some attention on social media.

According to the insider (via CBM), "The idea is to bring EVERYONE back in Secret Wars." In other words, the surprises and cameos in Avengers: Doomsday will pale in comparison to what's planned in 2027.

This would mean that anyone who is still alive who has played Marvel characters in the past, like Affleck, Nicolas Cage, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Eric Bana, Edward Norton, and more could appear alongside their current counterparts. I look forward to seeing who comes out to reprise these roles, and I really hope some of the cameos stay a surprise!

Who would you like to see return in Avengers: Secret Wars?
