New Rumor Claims Marvel Studios is In Talks With Sam Raimi About Directing Something Other Than DOCTOR STRANGE 3

Sam Raimi is a big name in the world of superhero movies. He directed the Spider-Man trilogy that kicked off in 2002 starring Tobey Maguire, which were bold and used some new tech that made fans instantly feel like they were part of Spidey’s world. They were great movies, and Raimi was even in talks with Sony to make a fourth film, but the studio decided to take a beat and reboot the franchise instead.

Raimi officially became a member of the MCU when he directed the 2022 sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It was dark and fun and it had his signature style all over it. Marvel was satisfied with the outcome of the film, and they’ve been vocal about wanting to bring him back for something, which fans assumed would be another Doctor Strange flick, but if a new rumor turns out to be true, he may be asked aboard another project for Marvel Studios.

According to industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH (via CBM), "Sam Raimi had talks with Marvel about doing another project for them, not just Doctor Strange 3."

With Tobey Maguire also back in the MCU thanks to Spider-Man: No Way Home, could we see a reunion between the actor and his Spider-Man director, Sam Raimi? We will just have to wait and see. What would you like to see Raimi direct for the studio?
