Miles Morales Reportedly Could Take Over as Main Spider-Man in Sony's Rebooted Marvel Universe Post-SECRET WARS
We know what the Marvel slate looks like for the next couple of years, but beyond the next two Avengers movies, things will look very different.
Comparing the event films to their previous double Avengers features, we know that two stories of this scale will surely shake things up.
A new rumor claims that after the events of Spider-Man 4, Avengers: Doomsday, and Avengers: Secret Wars, we may have the need for a new Spider-Man, and that reboot may focus on Miles Morales.
Talking about Miles Morales not being part of the MCU's Champions in a recent Q&A, The Cosmic Circus' Alex Perez said, "[The reason] why, is Miles (according to [the] information I currently have, so please take this with a grain of salt) is going to be set in a rebooted Sony Universe that’s set to be established after Secret Wars."
This makes fans wonder whether Marvel Studios will have any creative involvement or whether Sony is looking to piggyback on what many expect to be a soft reboot for the MCU after Secret Wars.
But we all know that fans would rather see Marvel stay in control of Spider-Man, as Sony has proven that they are not to be trusted with films featuring superheroes.
Current Peter Parker actor Tom Holland has been vocal about his desire to bring Miles Morales into the fold. But we will just have to wait and see how it’s handled. Would you like to see Miles Morales join the MCU?
