STRANGER THINGS Star Joe Keery Has Reportedly Been Meeting With Marvel For Undisclosed MCU Role
Marvel is moving into new territory with the introduction of the X-Men to the MCU and the closing of the Multiverse in this new war against Doctor Doom.
We will be seeing new groups form in the next two Avengers movies, and we may even see new characters introduced. One of them may be played by actor Joe Keery, who has been rumored to have met with Marvel Studios.
This doesn’t mean that the actor who brought Steve Harrington to life in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things has necessarily been cast in a role just yet, but the fact that he’s had meetings is promising.
According to insider Daniel Richtman, Keery is on Feige's radar, and this gets us wondering if he might play a character like Nova or Harry Osborn. If he ends up as Osborn, he could share scenes with his Stranger Things co-star Sadie Sink, who is playing a secret character in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
This is all speculation, but it would make perfect sense that a rising star like Keery, with a newly opened schedule, would be on Marvel’s radar. Stay tuned for updates.
