New Rumor Claims Surprising Character from SPIDER-MAN Trilogy Will Return for BRAND NEW DAY
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a high-stakes new chapter in the MCU that will finally follow up with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which ended with Peter becoming erased essentially from the minds of the people closest to him, along with everyone else in the world.
This new film includes Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, and Liza Colón-Zayas in unknown roles, and returning co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon as MJ and Ned, in smaller capacities than before.
But one more former co-star is also returning to the franchise, and this one is a bit more surprising. According to scooper Daniel Richtman, Tony Revolori's Flash Thompson will be a part of Brand New Day.
This is kind of surprising, seeing as this character’s role kind of waned throughout the Home trilogy, but another familiar face is kind of fun, and who knows, maybe he will actually like Peter Parker when meeting him for the first time… again.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to be released on July 31, 2026.
