New Rumor Claims That Andrew Garfield Has Signed Contract to Star in at Least Two More SPIDER-MAN Movies
The MCU seems to be on an upswing with its upcoming slate of movie projects that fans are looking forward to. The last couple of years has been hit or miss when it came to Marvel, but one thing most fans agreed on was that the 2021 movie Spider-Man: No Way Home was a great flick, and a great example of MCU storytelling.
We are hoping to get back to that, and we are hoping that when Peter Parker returns, we may also be able to see his variants at some point as well. It was so great to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield return, and they only added to the depth of the story.
While we don’t know for sure if Maguire is going to sign back on, we do know that Garfield has said he’d eagerly return if the story was right, and according to a new rumor, that right time might just be now.
According to industry scooper MTTSH, Andrew Garfield is now locked in to appear as Spidey in "at least two more projects."
It’s assumed that one of these projects might be Avengers: Secret Wars, but it also wouldn’t be surprising if the other was a standalone film focusing on his Spider-Man, or a reteam with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in the upcoming Spider-Man 4which is currently in development.
Holland and Zendaya are both set to return in their respective roles. No Way Home scribes Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers are working on the script, and Destin Daniel Cretton was recently announced as director.
Are you excited for Garfield’s probable return?
