New Rumor Claims the Eternals Will Be Included in AVENGERS: SECRET WARS

After the introduction of Marvel’s Eternals in 2021, despite some cool post-credits cliffhangers, we haven’t heard a peep from those characters.

The film wasn’t nearly as successful as Marvel had hoped, so the future of the characters introduced has been sitting on the back burner since then. But we may be getting an update soon…

According to industry scooper James Mack, he’s “heard that there’s one character from the Eternals in the current plans to appear in Avengers Secret Wars.”

We don’t know which one of the Eternals will be the one to make their return, but one of these Avengers movies seems like the best place.

This adventure will be the possible end to the multiverse, and bringing back some of the long lost characters from the far reaches of the MCU sounds like a good time.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, 2026; Avengers: Secret Wars will hit theaters on December 17, 2027.
