New Rumor Claims the Third AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Teaser Trailer Will Focus on a Very Surprising Character

The release of director James Cameron’s sequel Avatar: Fire and Ash has brought the release of the first teaser trailer for Marvel’s highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday.

The first trailer was leaked early, so fans knew that it was going to reveal the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, whose life in the timeline with Peggy and their baby is at risk under threat of Doctor Doom.

The second trailer has not yet been released, but another leak confirms that it will welcome back Thor and his adopted daughter, Love, played by his real life daughter, India Rose Hemsworth.

Now, we have a rumored report on who the third trailer will revolve around, and this one is pretty surprising. Scooper Cryptic HD Quality teased on Twitter that they’ve heard the third teaser is a “big one,” and they shared a picture of James Marsden’s Scott Summers/Cyclops from the X-Men franchise.

We know there are plenty of other X-Men returning in this film as well, but we don’t know if they will be featured in the teaser, or if it’s just Marsden. The actor has been a known cast member since the first cast announcement back in March, but it’s interesting that he would be the main focus of this teaser.

I trust the Russo’s storytelling though, and I look forward to seeing what they have up their sleeves.

Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters everywhere on December 18, 2026.
