New Rumor Claims to Reveal Major Plot Details Around the Character Peggy Carter in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY

While Hayley Atwell’s Marvel character Peggy Carter has not been confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, it can be assumed she will be front and center for at least a few scenes, as we have seen the teaser featuring Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and his baby with Peggy.

The rumors keep ramping up about Steve’s return to the MCU, and his mainstage storyline, but this new one actually brings Peggy further into the spotlight.

The tip claims that Atwell will actually play multiple versions of Peggy in Doomsday - and one of them may actually be on Doom's side.

They report that in the latest Cosmic Circus Q&A, Alex Perez was asked about Carter's role, and whether there could be any truth to the theory that she could become a "Doom Witch."

"It’s more of a follower of Doom than a Witch, but not because she’s evil or anything of the sort. She just thinks that what Doom is doing will help her and her son to fix the current status of the multiverse, which is partially the fault of Steve Rogers."

So while Peggy isn’t really joining the dark side consciously, she is just trying to help the greater good, at the center of which is her family.

As usual, this is a rumor, so take it as such. Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, 2026.
