New Rumor Claims to Reveal Which Original Avenger Will Be Joining AVENGERS: SECRET WARS

There are a lot of Marvel rumors out there right now as we anticipate the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day this summer, and Avengers: Doomsday in December.

These are two of the most highly anticipated Marvel titles in some time, but Doomsday is only part one of the back to back Avengers outings we are looking forward to. Avengers: Secret Wars is set to drop in December 2027, but very little can be said of it before we know what will transpire in Doomsday.

The latest rumor though, is that while we will have to wait and see who survives Doomsday to make it to Secret Wars, one actor is said to be safe heading into the second part.

Industry scooper Chad of The Geeky Cast claims (via SHH) that MCU vet Chris Evans will “100%” appear in the sixth installment of the blockbuster franchise.

This Avengers: Secret Wars report also teases the importance of Evans’ role in the storyline of Avengers: Doomsday, where the former Cap will first make his return as Steve Rogers.

Many thought this would be Evans’ final MCU appearance, but if the rumor is true, that may not be the case. Should this new update be proven, Evans and Robert Downey Jr. would be the only Marvel stars to appear in all of the studio’s Avengers movies.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, 2026 and Avengers: Secret Wars can be expected on December 17, 2027.
