New Rumor Claims to Reveal Who Will Return in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Post-Credits Scene
Avengers: Doomsday is less than two months away, and fans are wondering what surprises the movie will have in store. Not only do we anticipate unannounced cast members to make appearances, but we hope the story will give us a few twists and turns, and we expect the post-credits scenes to deliver some excitement that will get us pumped for Avengers: Secret Wars.
Today, we have a rumor about one of those post-credits scenes, and who will return for it. According to a post from insider James Mack, which you can check out below, one Doomsday post-credits scene shows Doctor Doom with Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
Mack captioned the photo of comic Doom and Wanda, saying, “Jesus, I just received the full description of the main post-credits scene in Avengers: Doomsday.”
This would be Wanda’s first return after her death in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Her return in the MCU as a whole hasn’t been confirmed by Olsen or Kevin Feige. But this honestly would be an incredible place to bring her back, especially after her family’s story plays out in VisionQuest.
I would personally love to see a happy ending for Wanda, and Olsen has played her perfectly, so it would be cool to see her get that redemptive arc.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released in theatres on December 18, 2026.
