New Rumor Claims Tom Holland's Spider-Man Will Return in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY and Beyond
With all the news about Marvel’s upcoming projects making the rounds after Comic-Con this summer, one glaring omission remained. We haven’t heard what will be next for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
The last we saw of Peter Parker was three years ago in Spider-Man: No Way Home, when he had lost all the people closest to him and was entering a very sad new phase in his life. We know he’ll be back, but the question is when, and in what project?
Thanks to industry scooper Daniel Richtman, we have heard a new rumor that claims a possible deal might be happening between Marvel and Sony, concerning our Peter Parker.
According to The Direct, as per the claims Richtman made on his Patreon channel, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man might be able to appear in numerous projects. The rumor further suggests that the deal will reportedly give Marvel head Kevin Feige the freedom to fully control the solo projects of Holland’s Spider-Man.
Additionally, the claims suggest that the deal will allow Holland’s Spider-Man to make appearances in not just the MCU but also cross over to Sony’s Spider-Man universe.
As per the scoop provided by Richtman, here are some of the MCU projects fans could get a chance to see Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in.
The rumors suggest that there are high chance that Holland’s Spider-Man could be a part of the two big Avengers movies, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Additionally, with Marvel looking to set up the Young Avengers, he could also be a part of a possible Young Avengers movie as a veteran. Holland’s Spider-Man could take up after the likes of Iron Man and Chris Evans’ Captain America.
As with all of these released rumors, we will just have to wait and see if they come true. But it is intriguing, seeing as many of them have panned out over the years. I don’t care what movie we see Spider-Man return in, but I hope it’s soon, and I hope he is able to stay on the Marvel side of things.
