Martian Manhunter Will Reportedly Appear in Zack Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE
Zack Snyder has already said that his Justice League movie is going to be very different than the version we saw in theaters. It’ll also be almost four hours long! He plans on really fleshing out his vision for these characters, and we are also going to see other characters who were completely cut out of WB’s version of the film, including Darkseid and Martial Manhunter.
Martian Manhunter was in the original plans for the film, and he will reportedly be included in the Snyder Cut. Thanks to Heroic Hollywood, we have some possible details on the character’s role in the film saying:
“Martian Manhunter might also appear in the film. Snyder revealed that Harry Lennox’s General Swanwick was going to be revealed as the hero. The dramatic twist takes place in a scene with Lois and Martha Kent when Martha closes the door and transforms into the Martian Manhunter. He quickly turns back into Swanwick, revealing J'onn J'onzz has been in the DCU from the very beginning.
“Lenox recently teased his involvement with the Snyder Cut on Twitter. He said things like ‘Things don’t just happen, things happen just.’ He then replied with a winking emoji when a fan replied with the storyboard art of Martian Manhunter.”
This is some previously released concept art of Martian Manhunter’s reveal in the film:
With Snyder finally getting to share his full vision of Justice League, seeing Martian Manhunter in it shouldn’t be surprising. We just don’t know for sure how much of the character that we’ll see in it. It’ll be interesting to see what Snyder was planning for Martian Manhunter, though!
