New Set Photos From BATGIRL Offer a New Look at Leslie Grace in Costume and She's Looking a Little Beat Up
Some new photos from the set of director Adil El Arbi and Bilall Falla’s DC film Batgirl have surfaced. They offer a new look at Leslie Grace all decked out in her costume, and it looks like she’s taken a beating as her face is bleeding in one of the images.
Production on the film is well underway, and Lesley is joined in the film by Michael Keaton as Batman, Brendan Fraser as the villain, JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Jacob Scipio is taking on an unknown role.
The script for the film was written by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee, Birds of Prey). Kristin Burr, who recently worked on Cruella, is producing the film, which is going to be released exclusively on HBO Max. Burr said in a previous statement:
‘With Batgirl, we hope to take the audience on a fun ride and see a different side of Gotham. Christina’s script is crackling with spirit. Adil and Bilall have an excited and joyous energy which is infectious, making them the perfect filmmakers for this Batproject. And I’m just psyched I get to be part of the DC universe, which is super cool."
There are still no story details to share, and the exact date of when the Batgirl movie will be released is still unknown, but it will be released on HBO Max. Check out the photos below!
