New SHAZAM! Deleted Scene Teases the Eventual Arrival of BLACK ADAM
Warner Bros. has released a little deleted scene from DC’s Shazam! titled “Family on Thrones,” and it features the Shazam! family sitting on their stone thrones in the Rock of Eternity. As they are enjoying the moment, they realize that there is an empty chair.
This empty chair is a tease of the eventual arrival of Dwayne Johnson’s villainous Black Adam. When the empty chair is pointed out, Darla Dudley responds, "Well, whoever it is, I'm going to love them no matter what because they're an automatic part of the family," clearly unaware of the threat that Black Adam could pose to them.
Black Adam was the Wizard's champion before Billy Batson, and as the movie hinted, he turned his back on the Wizard’s ways and used the superpowers in a way that went against the Shazam! council's beliefs.
It’ll be interesting to see how Shazam! and Black Adam end up crossing over with each other on the big screen. Seeing Zachary Levi and Dwayne Johnson come face to face as these two characters is going to be pretty awesome!
