A new solo Iron Man comic will be releasing this December. Writer Gerry Duggan and artist Juan Frigeri will take the reigns as Christopher Cantwell’s run comes to an end this November. Invincible Iron Man will begin with Tony Stark reflecting on the highs and lows of his 60 years of history as he plummets towards rock bottom.

With his wealth, fame, and friends all gone what more could he lose? Tony will find out when a mystery villain puts a hit out on him and every assassin around the Marvel Universe tries to collect the bounty. Tony must fight for his life while trying to figure out who exactly has hired all these assassins.

It sounds like it will be a great way to celebrate Iron Man’s 60th anniversary, full of action and intrigue. Also the cover art looks amazing. You’ll be able to find Invincible Iron Man #1 on December 7 at comic book shops.
