New SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Promo Spot Teases That "Everything Will Be Revealed"
It’s pretty crazy that we’re only about a week away from the release of Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. The hype for this film is blowing up all over the place! The past couple months, not a day goes by that I don’t see someone talking about this movie and whether or not Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are going to show up alongside Tom Holland. It’s a never ending discussion among fans, and I can’t wait for the movie to finally come out and put it all to rest.
Anyway, while we wait for that glorious day, here’s a brief new TV spot filled packed with new footage, and it teases that “everything will be revealed.” In the spot we see Peter Parker and Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) work together to try and fix the damage they've done.
Doctor Strange is clearly preparing to cast a spell, and that’s followed by a shot of the multiverse shattering. Pretty exciting stuff! Check it out!
In the movie, “for the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.”
The movie also stars Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, and Jamie Foxx as Electro, and Willem Dafoe back in the role of Green Goblin. Other villains set to appear include Sandman and Lizard. Other cast members include Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash, and Hannibal Buress as Coach Wilson.
The Jon Watts-directed film is to to be released in theaters on December 17, 2021.
