STAR WARS TOTAL WAR Game Reportedly in Development

There’s a new Star Wars game reportedly in development that is sure to get fans excited. The game is said to be titled Star Wars Total War, and it sounds like it could be awesome!

The game is being developed by Creative Assembly, and according to DualShockers, there are three new different Total War games currently in development and Star Wars is said to be the second one that will be released. The last Total War game that was released was Total War: Pharaoh last year.

The Total War franchise usually focuses on historical military forces and cultures, so doing something with Star Wars would be very different for them.

The Total War games combine turn-based strategy and resource management with real-time tactical control of battles. Rather uniquely for real-time strategy games, flanking manoeuvers and formations factor heavily into gameplay.

Creative Assembly hasn’t officially confirmed this game is in development, but multiple sources are saying they are. It’ll be interesting to see how this shakes out.
