New STAR WARS: JABBA'S PALACE - A LOVE LETTER GAME Announced For 2022

Asmodee, Z-Man Games, and Lucasfilm announced Star Wars: Jabba’s Palace – A Love Letter Game coming in early 2022. The social deduction card game will be getting not only a Star Wars reskin, but will give cards new abilities and introduce agenda cards. In the original Love Letter game the objective is simple: be the last player standing and have a card with the highest number in your hand at the end of the game. You draw a card and play a card, it’s a simple but really fun game if you need to kill a few minutes with friends. 

This new Star Wars version sounds fun and different. You’ll get to utilize characters from the rebel alliance and the palace with agenda cards rewarding you for collecting one over the other among other new win conditions added. And cards have many new abilities, such as Boba Fett who will let you take someone else’s card. It sounds like some pretty ambitious new rules, but given how well the other iterations of this game have been, I feel confident they’ve done it well.
