New STAR WARS REBELS Trailer Features a New Crossguard Lightsaber

I think Star Wars fans were under the impression that Kylo Ren was the only person in the galaxy with a crossguard lightsaber, but this new trailer for Star Wars Rebels seems to indicate that's not actually the case. Kylo's saber seemed to have a homemade quality to it in The Force Awakens, crackling and buzzing louder than the lightsabers we'd seen previously and carrying with it the implication that it was something he, in his worshipping of Darth Vader, came up with himself.

But the one Ezra holds in this trailer has green blades instead of red, and it seems to be a little more professionally designed than Kylo's. Does this mean that Kylo created his as an homage to the owner of the one Ezra has here? Or are crossguard sabers just far more prevalent throughout the galaxy than we thought? These and a lot more questions are raised in the new trailer, which you can watch in full below.
